Synopsis from the Filmmaker:

A good suit has many lives and if a suit could talk it would tell the story of Jack Taylor. Take a nostalgic and intimate look at an American icon and a dying breed. For more than sixty years Jack Taylor has dressed the stars, including Cary Grant, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. Indeed, it was Taylor's threads that established the fashion trends of the Rat Pack. Jack Taylor's custom-made suits have stood the test of time, always fashionable and an enduring symbol of status. This is more than a story of a fashion pioneer; it is a bittersweet portrayal of old Hollywood, detailing the demise of not only custom tailoring, but of an era.

This film takes a candid look into the history of Jack Taylor as a Hollywood institution. His love and dedication for style translates into a love for exquisite fabrics, painstaking attention to detail, and a spirit that has never surrendered to fleeting trends. -AP

Synopsis from the Filmmaker:

Matter transports are a reality, and the Trans-Trip Corporation, controllers of this technology, provide the gateway to a new life for Julian Salinger and his wife Maya. But this apparent golden age of travel without boundaries has its shadow side. And when the system malfunctions, Salinger discovers a less palatable future behind the corporate façade. Getting there is only half the problem.

The well-worn "beam-me-up" image is such a staple of sci-fi that some of us may expect to travel via such convenient means before too long. This fantastic technology always seems to work perfectly, but what if it didn't? Reassembling all those atoms across the universe must be tricky! This droll short considers one possibility of a less-than-perfect transfer. Acted with faux 1960s earnestness and shot with a television-like shimmer. -ME
